What Agentic AI Means for Companies
Agentic AI refers to self-executing and self-leading artificial intelligence. In simple terms, this type of AI can help businesses complete work, make decisions, manage tasks, and improve operations more independently.
For private companies, this could mean faster services, lower operating costs, and better productivity. It may also help businesses create new products, reach more customers, and improve how teams work.
The initiative aims to make Dubai a global leader in using Agentic AI for business and commercial activity.
Training Through Dubai Chamber Business Councils
As part of the two-year transformation program, specialized training tracks will be introduced for all business councils under the Dubai Chamber of Commerce.
This means companies linked to these councils may get structured learning support as they prepare to adopt AI tools in their operations.
Dubai Chambers will also help implement the plan through training, incubators, and funds to support AI startups and entrepreneurs.
Incubators and Funds for AI Startups
Sheikh Hamdan also directed Dubai Chambers to establish incubators for Agentic AI companies.
These incubators are expected to support startups and young entrepreneurs who want to build AI-based solutions. Dedicated funds will also be created to back the shift toward Agentic AI.
This part of the initiative is important for young people, founders, and tech professionals who want to enter the AI economy.
Why Dubai Is Pushing This Now
Dubai has already launched several digital initiatives, including DubaiNow, the Dubai Metaverse Strategy, and the Dubai Center for Artificial Intelligence.
This new private-sector AI push supports the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which aims to strengthen Dubai’s economy over the next decade.
Officials said the goal is to boost productivity, reduce costs, and help businesses become more future-ready.
What This Means for Expats and oFWs
For employees, especially those in office, operations, tech, customer service, and management roles, the message is clear: AI skills may become more valuable in Dubai’s job market over the next two years.
