Innovation Meets Everyday Life
The initiative is part of Dubai’s vision to become a global leader in advanced mobility and smart city living. By using aerial logistics, the Municipality hopes to improve delivery speed, efficiency, and accessibility for residents and tourists. This means less waiting time and more comfort for people enjoying Dubai’s outdoor spaces.
Partnership for the Future
Under the agreement, Dubai Municipality will identify safe and suitable areas for drone operations, ensuring compliance with city planning and safety rules. Meanwhile, Keeta Drone will handle the technical side — designing flight routes, testing operations, and preparing performance reports. Both sides will work together to make sure the system fits Dubai’s sustainability and innovation goals.
Voices Behind the Project
Bader Anwahi, CEO of the Public Facilities Agency, said the project shows Dubai’s commitment to future technologies that improve quality of life and transform public spaces into intelligent environments. Dr. Yinian Mao, President of Keeta Drone, added that the partnership is about “meeting people where they already are — at the park, at the beach — and bringing services closer to those moments.”
What’s Next
The first drone delivery activations are expected later this year, starting with selected parks and beaches before expanding citywide. This move could open doors for more smart city integrations, public activations, and innovative service models focused on convenience and sustainability.
