In case you have just arrived in Dubai and wondering what it’s all about… Expo 2020 Dubai is a major event happening on October 20, 2020 until April 10, 2021. During this six-month period, millions of visitors will be coming to see trade exhibits, featured products, and innovations.
Expo 2020 Dubai will include the following highlights:
- Focuses on the theme “Connecting minds. Creating the future.”
- Spans an area of 438 hectares that can be accessed through the new Expo Metro Station
- Themed districts and pavilions featuring countries from around the world
- A central plaza called “Al Wasl,” which means “connection” in Arabic
Dubai won the bid to host the world expo in 2013. Since then, we have seen colourful marketing campaigns as well as breathtaking images and videos of the Expo 2020 Dubai site.
