To residents in the UAE, please be advised of a weather alert issued across the Emirates by the National Centre of Meteorology. In a post on Twitter by NCM, they have mentioned that “Northwesterly winds accompanied with dust load and blowing dust resulting in a reduction in visibility at times.”
This warning comes after heavy rainfall hit parts of Dubai in the afternoon..
The NCM has warned the public of dusty conditions, high winds, and poor visibility until 6:00 pm in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

In a post on Twitter by the Roads and Transport Authority, the ferry services between Dubai and Sharjah have been disrupted.
Due to the expected adverse weather conditions, the Intercity #Ferry service between Dubai and Sharjah will be subjected to temporary disruption. Customers are kindly asked to contact RTA Customer Happiness Centre on 800 9090 for further information.
