PHILIPPINES: The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) has partnered with GCash to launch a new program designed to help returning overseas Filipino workers rebuild their livelihoods.
Called “Buy Lokal, By OFWs”, the initiative focuses on helping OFWs start and grow small businesses in the Philippines.
The program comes at a time when many OFWs are returning home due to global uncertainties, job losses, or reduced income abroad.
