The announcement stated that the application form would remain open until 11:59 PM or until the submission limit was reached.
During this brief 20-minute window, the office successfully received 822 applications. Officials will now process these submissions to verify applicant eligibility and ensure all required documents are complete.

- 64% were female, 36% male

Primary Reasons for Seeking Financial Aid
The applications showed the main reasons OFWs are seeking financial aid due to the following reasons:
- 41.7% due to salary reduction
- Others applied because of:
- Unpaid leave
- Termination
- No work-no pay
- Unpaid salaries
- Forced resignation
The remaining applicants cited a variety of severe employment disruptions. These reasons include being placed on unpaid leave, facing outright termination, or struggling with restrictive “no work, no pay” arrangements. Others applied because they had not received their earned unpaid salaries or were subjected to forced resignation by their employers.
