Heads up as there’s a long weekend for both public and private sectors on December 2 and 3 (Sunday and Monday) in celebration of the 47th UAE National Day. When combined with the Friday and Saturday (November 30-December 1), it will be a 4-day long UAE weekend for everyone! Work will resume on December 4.

Those who will not be reporting to work can take advantage of going for a holiday whether in the UAE or destinations outside the UAE.

UAE 47th National Day: Holiday for Private and Public Sectors
Abu Dhabi – The Council of Ministers adopted on December 2 and 3 an official holiday for the government and private sectors in the UAE on the occasion of the 47th National Day.
The Council of Ministers congratulated the people of the United Arab Emirates on this occasion and wished them and our dear country the best of luck and safety. Below is the post from UAE Government Twitter account:

So again, both UAE government and private companies will have 2 days off on December 2 and 3. Work to resume on December 4.
Take note that those who will be working during these days should get the necessary holiday benefits or holiday pay as per UAE Labour
