Video/images of an alleged abandoned newborn baby girl has been doing its rounds on social media. According to news reports, the newborn was left inside the women’s toilet of Al Jahli Park in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi last Wednesday.
A woman who found the baby informed Abu Dhabi Police about it.
In a video, a local woman was heard to be saying that she discovered the baby when she entered the women’s washroom.
The woman could be seen holding the baby and wrapping her up in a cloth.
A report by GulfNews mentions that a police spokesperson told them on Friday that “a baby was found in Al Ain and that investigations are underway”
