Once they arrive in the home country, The Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking (IACAT) expects to file cases against the illegal recruiters who convinced them into signing up to become an OFW abroad. It’s good to know that from initially thinking that they can only complain and cry about their problems, our fellowmen now have an idea that Filipinos can reach out to the Philippine embassy and Consulates and IACAT so these illegal recruitment system will be dealt with accordingly.

This serves as another reminder to everyone to make sure that you secure an employment visa first as travelling to the UAE under a tourist visa will have risks. Remember that it is illegal to work while under a visit visa/tourist visa.
