Catch FREE Live Performances at Dubai Metro Stations this March

One of the best things about community events is that most of the time they’re free of charge. Whether it’s part of a promotional campaign or a community-sponsored event, there’s no doubt that these types of events can definitely attract crowds.

And where else do you find large crowds other than public transportation facilities? The good thing about it here in the UAE is that our public transport facilities look just as modern and stylish as any malls you can visit in the area. And that only makes it a great (and free) experience as a whole.

Dubai Metro Stations to Host Free Music Concerts this March

In an announcement by the creative arm of the Dubai Media Office (DMO), Brand Dubai, last March 11, there will be free mini musical concerts at Dubai Metro stations for public commuters from March 17 to 23, as shared in a report by the Khaleej Times.

The event, as organized in cooperation with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), will feature international performers specializing in a wide range of musical genres, including traditional and non-traditional genres.

This event will be the first of its kind in the region, as the festival will take place at five Dubai Metro Stations, namely Burjuman, Union, DMCC, Al Rigga, and Burj Khalifa.

A total of 25 performers from all over the world are all lined up to entertain and captivate crowds for one whole week in the emirate. Shows will be rotated throughout the week to cover the above-mentioned five Metro stations.

The Metro Dubai Music Festival complements the Emirate’s busiest cultural season, which will also feature the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature, Art Dubai, and World Art Dubai, among others.
