Aside from the new Dubai-Abu Dhabi bus route introduced lately, there’s another new transport service in town, and it is particularly convenient for those who work on night shifts!
The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has launched a new night bus service, which started on Sunday, September 1. Aiming to enhance the public bus network in the emirate, the agency will also improve the timing and connectivity of 11 other bus routes.
RTA Dubai Introduces Night Public Bus Service
According to a press release from RTA Dubai, the new bus route, N30, begins from Dragon Mart 2 at International City and travels to Dubai International Airport (Terminal 2) via Rashidiya Metro Station.
The N30 night bus route operates from 10:00 pm in the evening to 5:00 am the following day. For late-night commuters, including those who work on night shifts, this new service definitely comes in handy!
Other than launching the new service, RTA Dubai will also be improving the services of these bus routes: 11A, 24, 34, 50, 56, 95, 95A, 96, F53, X25, and N55 — which is also another night bus route.
“RTA is always keen on broadening and upgrading the scope of the public bus network.” the press release stated. “It makes relentless efforts to enhance the integration of public buses with other transit means, such as the metro, tram and water transport.”
“Such efforts are aimed to make these modern transit modes the best mobility choice across Dubai,” the statement added.
If you happen to be coming home late at night, you can be assured of a safe and convenient travel with the new bus route. Indeed, RTA continues to make getting around Dubai easier, more comfortable, and affordable! Still, it’s best to avoid commuting alone during late hours, so as much as possible, be sure to travel with a friend or colleague.
