Sometime last year, we heard that a Warner Brothers theme park was coming to the UAE. A few months ago, the official opening date was announced… and that day is today! Warner Brothers World Abu Dhabi is the world’s first Warner Brothers indoor theme park, brought to us by Miral.
Dubai Media Office reported that the inauguration was attended by the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The theme park officially opened to the public on 25th July 2018.
UAE Rulers Open Warner Brothers World Abu Dhabi
Spanning a total of 1.65 million square feet, Warner Brothers World is situated on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. During the inauguration ceremony, festive celebrations were held, along with the premiere screening of Cinema Spectacular, featuring Warner Brothers characters.
Notably, the ceremony was also attended by the Crown Prince of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Ajman, His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, and other high-ranking officials.
