This weekend, Curtis-Smith was in the UAE for the screenings of Just a Stranger, The National reported. The film stars the actress opposite Filipino actors Marco Gumabao and Edu Manzano. It follows the story of Mae (Curtis-Smith) a married woman who gets into an affair with Jericho (Gumabao), a young man who is half her age.

In between her press tour and screenings in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Curtis-Smith spent some time with designers Ezra Santos (of Ezra Couture), Michael Cinco, and Furne One (of Amato Couture), as shown in a photo shared by the actress on Instagram.

“With the impalpable… couture madames of Dubai,” she posted. “Three proudly Pinoy designers Ezra, Michael, and Furne, whom I have been given the honor to wear their creations throughout my career. So happy to finally hangout and just make chika.”

As of this writing, the post — featuring the actress and designers clad in black — has more than 161,000 likes on Instagram. Wow!

Earlier this year, Curtis-Smith has been spotted donning a Michael Cinco gown for a pageant held in the Philippines:

Aside from the movie screenings, the actress hasn’t shared much about her latest visit to the UAE. Nevertheless, she did post this short video, which was taken at the Palace Downtown:

“I love you Dubai!” she happily declared. “Three sold-out screenings today for Just a Stranger. Maraming salamat sa pagmamahal and the warm smiles I received today.”
