Emirates Hailed as World’s Top Airline in 2019

Known for its high-quality services and state-of-the-art facilities, the UAE’s flag carrier has always been part of the amazing experience which travellers look forward to when booking a trip or a vacation in the country.

The Dubai-based airlines’ commitment to excellence as reflected by its campaign slogan, “Fly Better” has earned a reputation not only among tourists and its passengers, but also travel and industry experts as it had also been recently given the distinction of “Best First Class in the World.”

And as a testimony to its quality operational performance and features, Emirates once again continues its winning streak when it had been given the highest distinction, bagging five awards at the recently concluded Business Traveller Middle East Awards 2019.

The UAE’s leading airline took home the highly coveted industry accolades for Airline with the Best First Class, Best Economy ClassBest Frequent Flyer Program and Best Airport Lounge in the Middle East.

Receiving five of the most highly prestigious awards in the field of aviation service industry, it did not come as a surprise when the Emirates also took home its biggest award at the event – Best Airline Worldwide.

Upon receiving all of the major distinctions on behalf of the company, Thierry Antinori, executive vice president and chief commercial officer for Emirates shared that being acknowledged by the award-giving body for five prestigious awards was such an honour, and the fact that customers recognize their brand is the biggest encouragement for them to continue to raise the bar and to develop innovative products and services, with a strong customer focus aligned with their brand promise to ‘fly better’.

Emirates has very recently redefined premium travel with its Boeing 777-300ER interiors which feature six fully enclosed First Class Private Suites with meticulous design details inspired by the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Laid in a 1-1-1 configuration, each suite has floor to ceiling sliding doors and up to 40 square feet of personal space, cutting-edge technologies, including a NASA inspired ‘zero-gravity’ seating position, ‘virtual windows’ for middle aisle suites, and a personal video-call service. The Emirates’ Boeing 777-300ER ‘game-changer’ aircraft currently flies to six global cities, including Riyadh and Kuwait.

It’s also worth mentioning that Emirates’ loyalty programme, Emirates Skywards, now has over 23 million-strong members who fully enjoy earning and redeeming Skyward Miles on flights, hotel accommodation, and global lifestyle brands.

Other than these fantastic services, the airline also offers state-of-the-art First Class lounges at Concourses A, B and C in Dubai to premium customers with a unique experience to refresh using showers and to enjoy savouring in gourmet cuisines on board, among others.
