Derulo was born in Florida to Haitian parents. He started singing at a very young age, and wrote his first song when he was just eight years old! In fact, he had been writing songs for Diddy, Lil Wayne, Sean Kingston, and other artists long before becoming a solo performer himself!

In 2009, Derulo’s debut single, “Whatcha Say,” was released. Since then, he has been churning out hit after hit, one award-winning album after another! His fifth album, 2Sides, is set to be released soon. There’s simply no stopping this talented young man!

Pretty soon, you’ll be able to watch Derulo perform live on the Main Stage of Global Village. The event starts at 9 pm on December 14. You can catch his performance as part of your entry ticket to Global Village, which costs AED 15 per person. Cool, huh!
