Dubai confirms that rumors about security threats targeting Dubai are Fake

The Government of Dubai Media Office has confirmed that the rumors of security threats targeting Dubai are fake. In a post shared on January 8, 2020 via their official Twitter account, the Dubai Media office has debunked the rumors and have also reminded  has reminded residents in the UAE to stay alert and to avoid spreading rumours and fake news online and on social media.

Based on their official tweet, the government of Dubai has stated that published threats are fake as these threats have not been issued from any official source in the Iranian Government.

In a recent article, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation reaffirmed that the recent developments in the region would not affect the UAE citizens, residents, and visitors. They also emphasized that all business sectors continue to operate as normal.
