From July 20 to August 31 this year, Expo 2020 Dubai is inviting everyone to “The World’s Greatest Show in the Making” tour, which offers a glimpse of the event site. Constructions and preparations are well underway, with a huge portion now nearing completion.

Expo 2020 Dubai Offers Free Bus Tours to Event Site

Expo 2020 Dubai will be the first world expo to be held in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia (MEASA) region. From October 20, 2020 to April 10, 2021 — the event is expected to welcome around 25 million visitors — majority of them coming from outside the UAE.

Based on the theme, “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future,” Expo 2020 Dubai shall bring together participants from 192 countries, not to mention representatives from different businesses, educational institutions, and multilateral organisations from all over the world.

The 4.38 square kilometre site is located near the Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai South. Aside from multiple gatherings, meetings, and trade exhibits, Expo 2020 Dubai will feature spectacular pavilions showcasing the products and culture of participating countries.

Join “The World’s Greatest Show in the Making” Tour

As the Expo 2020 Dubai nears completion, organisers are now offering a free tour to anyone — regardless of nationality or age — who wants to see the site. It has been aptly dubbed, “The World’s Greatest Show in the Making” tour… an exciting preview of things to come!

Interested yet? The free bus tour will:

  • Run from July 20 to August 31, 2019 — every Monday and Wednesday afternoon and all day on Saturdays
  • Collect visitors from The Dubai Mall, Abu Dhabi Mall, and other pickup points in Sharjah and the northern emirates
  • Take passengers to the Expo 2020 Dubai site, where they will see the Visitor Centre and other iconic structures
  • Provide passengers with amazing trivia and information about the history of World Expos and Expo 2020 Dubai

“We can’t wait to welcome the world in 2020, but before then, we look forward to welcoming people from across the UAE to experience our site, which will host six months of unforgettable events and celebrations from October 2020,” she added.
