You heard that right! The JLT ‘Cinema Under the Stars’ is back, brought to us by the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC). Time to get ready for weekly viewings of free movies!

DMCC Presents ‘Cinema Under the Stars’ at JLT Park

As you may have guessed, Cinema Under the Stars is an outdoor movie screening event. Every Friday, from October 25 until December 27, you can watch a free movie at JLT Park at exactly 6:50 pm. The featured movies include blockbusters, biopics, and animated films.

List of Movies and Schedule

In case you’re wondering which films will be shown, here’s a list of each movie title, date of screening, and age rating:

  • Oct. 25 – Pavarotti (2019). A documentary about Luciano Pavarotti, a world-famous opera legend. (PG 13)
  • Nov. 1 – Salma’s Big Wish (2019). An animated film about an orphan girl who longs to meet her biological parents. (G – all ages)
  • Nov. 8 – The Professor and the Madman (2019). A movie starring Academy Award winners Sean Penn and Mel Gibson. (PG 13)
  • Nov. 15 – The Big Trip (2019). An animated film by the writer of Madagascar. (G – all ages)
  • Nov. 22 – Dragon Ball Super: Broly (2018). An anime about Goku and Vegeta’s encounter with Broly. (PG 13)
    Nov. 29 – Capernaum (2018). An Oscar-nominated foreign language film by Nadine Labaki. (PG 15)
  • Dec. 6 – Ride Like a Girl (2019). An inspiring film based on the true story of the first female Melbourne Cup winner. (G – all ages)
  • Dec. 13 – Then Came You (2019). A movie starring Game of Thrones’ Maisie Williams. (PG 12)
  • Dec. 20 – SK8 Dawg (2018). The inspiring tale of a bullied boy and his talking, skateboarding bulldog. (G – all ages)
  • Dec. 27 – Loving Vincent (2017). An animated film based on the life of painter Vincent Van Gogh. (PG 13)
