Aside from the much-awaited Museum of Illusions that’s opening at Al Seef, there’s another famous new attraction in town — Ripley’s Believe It or Not — believe it or not!
You may have heard about Ripley’s, a worldwide travelling show that features unusual exhibits. Well, for the next three months, you can get a glimpse of the popular attraction at WAFI Mall, according to the mall’s official website. And it’s absolutely FREE!
Worldwide Travelling Show Now in the UAE
Founded in the United States by Robert Ripley, the show started out as a newspaper panel. In fact, many periodicals still publish it today — featuring unusual feats, amazing people, and bizarre happenings. Since then, it has been showcased in radio shows, TV shows, comic books, a book series, and in a chain of museums around the world!
And now, for the first time ever in the Middle East, Ripley’s Believe It or Not has arrived! What can you expect to see at WAFI Mall? There are 75 exhibits all in all, including:
- A five-legged cow
- A mastodon’s skeleton
- A robot made of car parts
- A Van Gogh image made of post cards
What’s more, the show includes interactive exhibits, along with themed displays about recycling, transportation, and other interesting subjects.

But wait… it gets even better! WAFI Mall offers visitors the opportunity to visit Ripley’s real home — all the way in Orlando, Florida! Here’s how:
- Go to the Ripley’s registration desk and get your WAFI Explorer passport.
- Collect stamps at each Ripley’s exhibit, based on the location map.
- Once you have gathered all the stamps, you can enter the raffle draw!
The grand prize is a trip to Ripley’s in Florida for a family of four. How awesome is that! There will also be weekly prize winners, and one of them could be you!
Schedule and Timings
Ripley’s Believe It or Not will be on display at WAFI Mall from September to November 2018. Guests can view the exhibits during these times:
- Saturday to Wednesday — 10am to 10pm
- Thursday to Friday — 10am to 12mn
NOTE: No need to prepare any fees, because entrance is FREE! Double yay!
