The GITEX (Gulf Information Technology Exhibition) Shopping Event is Middle East’s most awaited consumer IT and electronics event and everybody’s excited to check out the latest promotions and discounts on IT products such as laptops, desktops, smartphones, television screens, home appliances, cameras, iPads, music players, and other technology and entertainment system products.
This event features special offers of well-established brands in technology, communication, and entertainment. This also includes bundled offers or freebies when you buy items from different retail outlets. This is only for a limited period but you can expect an influx of tourists from neighboring countries because of great deals that await consumers.

GITEX Spring Edition – April 2014
As far as I know, I remember the GITEX is scheduled on October, but it’s become a popular event that the organizers decided to add another date for the increasing demand. I think this only started last year but I’m not too sure. Anyway, It’s good because people who have missed out last year and cannot wait for this October’s event will have the opportunity to check out the merchandise this April month.
Schedule of GITEX Dubai 2014
Dates: April 23 to 26, 2014
Venue: World Trade Center – Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center
Ticket Admission Fee: 15 AED
Venue of Gitex 2014
The main Gitex event is held at the World Trade Center and you can have to pay a minimal fee to enter. However, if you don’t have time to head to the WTC, you can simply check out digital electronic shops and other tech shops as they surely have plenty of sales and promos. More convenient if you can check out the malls and shops that provide great offers for their items.
I myself would like to buy something this Dubai GITEX April occasion. I’d like to buy a good laptop so I can replace the existing one for an upgraded version.
