Transiting Passengers in UAE can Avail Mobile Plan for Only AED 50

Travelling is only half the fun without your loved ones along with you. But most of the time, when travelling is only necessary for work or business purposes, or even short-term visits, there’s consolation in the thought that we can always connect with family and friends through today’s technology.

But the more important question is for how much? Now, visitors in the UAE will be given a special offer to stay connected with their loved ones while travelling overseas at an affordable price.

Transiting Passengers in UAE can Avail Mobile Plan for Only AED 50

Visitors Can “Stay Connected” While in UAE for Only AED 50

Telecommunications company, Etisalat, announced the launch of its latest product line, the Visitor Line ‘Transit Pack, which offers transit passengers 1 GB data and 10 flexi minutes valid for 48 hours at AED 50 only, as shared in a report by the Khaleej Times.

The move was influenced by the UAE government’s decision to allow free transit visas for 48 hours to passengers transiting through UAE airports.

As per Khaled Elkhouly, Chief Consumer Officer, Etisalat, the company understands the importance of staying connected with friends and family while travelling overseas. It is for this very reason that the company is delighted to offer passengers transiting through the UAE an affordable and customized package that will cater to their needs for their 48-hour stay.

Elkhouly added that the package is part of the company’s on-going efforts to provide top-of-the-line products and services.

According to the report, transit passengers can avail of the ‘Transit Pack’ via Etisalat’s authorized retail partners located in UAE airports, as well as borders after meeting regulatory and mobile registration requirements.

This is great news not only for Etisalat subscribers, but to all travelling passengers who will have use for this short-term service offered in the UAE.
