During our 4-day trip to Cappadocia, Turkey, we were looking forward to our hotel accommodation because this was our first time staying in a cave hotel. Antique Terrace Suites in Cappadocia (BOOK HERE) is located in Goreme and this hotel has a number of rooms with each room having its own charm.

Sleeping in a cave hotel in Cappadocia is one of the most unique experiences you will ever have in this beautiful town. It’s great because this hotel is just a few seconds walk to the city center so you have easy access to the busy area in Goreme.

Cave Room

A cave hotel in Turkey is a great place to stay if you’re looking for the ultimate vacation. You get to sleep in a cave although with proper beds and facilities. We stayed in a room that was enough to fit a family of 4 people.

The room was very interesting because it’s set up inside a cave. There was no air conditioning yet it was cool. The weather at the time is also cold we actually needed to use the heaters.

Excellent Location

Antique Terrace suites features an excellent location because we could easily walk towards the city center where there are many restaurants and shops available. It’s a bit secluded from the town but it’s really just a short distance away.

FREE and Delicious Continental Breakfast

Continental breakfast was so good especially the fresh fruits and chocolate Turkish crepes. We also appreciate that we can get unlimited tea/coffee/water from their restaurant 24/7.

Warm Hospitality

We have got to mention how hospitable and warm the staff was. They made our whole stay very memorable and comfortable. I would like to thank Ilyas and Ramazan for their wonderful reception.

One instance was that during our last day, Ramazan stayed with us until our shuttle bus was going to pick us up in our hotel to the airport. We got a bit worried about the time as we might miss our flight, but he assured us and even stopped what he was doing just to ensure that we got into the shuttle.

Ramazan also offered to exchange our USD to TRY at better/fair conversion rates than the Money Changers in the center. They even gave a surprise bday cake when they learned it we were celebrating a birthday!

Affordable Price

May I also mention that the price of our stay was quite affordable given the free breakfast, and the excellent location? This was really a good price point to which we were very happy staying in this place.
