Dubai Police Highlight Latest Smart Stations, Drones at Intersec 2019
The Dubai Police General HQ displayed their latest smart innovations to community members at the 21st edition of Intersec 2019, as shared in a report by Gulf News.
Major Abdul Basit Ali Abdul Rahman, General Coordinator of Dubai Police Exhibitions, shared that their participation was intended to give the community an idea of the latest and upcoming services, which aim to achieve the highest standards of safety, security, and happiness among residents.
The decision to take part at the Intersec 2019 was based on the event’s reputation as one of the best security, safety, and protection solutions exhibits, so that the Dubai Police can showcase its potential and smart innovations for the future.
According to Rahman, the force has focused on its latest innovations, such as walk-in and police drones, as well as a display of all smart services available on the Dubai Police app, and the Smart Police Station (SPS).
As per Messe Frankfurt Middle East, the organizer of the event, more than 1,300 exhibitors representing around 59 countries, including 18 of the world’s top 20 security providers, were present at the Intersec 2019 held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from January 20-22.
The annual three-day event covered Commercial Security; Fire & Rescue; Perimeter & Physical Security; Safety & Health; Homeland Security & Policing; Information Security; and Smart Home & Building Automation.
